Today we recieved a phone call telling us that we have a new baby! We finally got our referral, after 14 months of waiting we have a baby BOY!!
He is 3 months old and his name is Tariku Gebre. His mom is 14 years old and could not care for him. So she brought him to the orphanage. Prayer for her as well and she has much to deal with. I pray God will give her peace during this time in her life.
His birthday is Sept. 18, 2009
On Dec. 17 they weighed him and he wieghts 11lbs. 4 oz. and he is 22" long.
He is very healthy! Praise God!!!
We are excited and are anxious to hold him!

We are also adopting from ET and wanted to share with you that it is against the 'rules' to share any information on your blog that can specifically identify your child. Adoptions have been denied because of people sharing too much information. Just thought you'd want to know for your own sake and for the sake of others like us. You should probably remove his name and story, just to be safe. Best wishes on your adoption!
